Toronto FC vs. Columbus Crew - Match Preview

The Reds head to Columbus for the final leg of the Trillium Cup presented by Scotts. The match takes place this Saturday, August 17th at 7:30 p.m. against the Crew. As the season series is tied one game apiece, this match will determine the winner of the Cup. The last time these two teams met, TFC defeated the Crew 2-1 with two late goals by Jonathan Osorio and Andrew Wiedeman at BMO Field. Catch up with Rachel in this week's 6 in 60 here.

Bendik Living Up to Potential

Joe Bendik has emerged as one of the key rising stars of this young Toronto FC squad. The New York native has taken the next step in his career since coming over from the Portland Timbers in a trade last season. Maximiliano Urruti Trains with Toronto FC

Argentine forward Maximiliano Urruti trained with Toronto FC this week at the Kia Training Ground in Downsview Park. As per a club statement released on Tuesday evening, Toronto is working to finalize a deal to bring Urruti to the club. Urruti has been targeted for several months by president and general manager Kevin Payne, who has been monitoring his situation with his current club, Newell's Old Boys of Argentina.
