Dynamo Charities to attempt to break Guinness World Record at pregame head-shaving tomorrow night

HOUSTON - Dynamo Charities, presented by Halliburton Charitable Foundation, will attempt to break a world record through a public Bald is Beautiful head-shaving before tomorrow night's match between the Dynamo and Seattle Sounders.

Through this event Dynamo Charities will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for shaved heads in an hour span. The timed head shaving will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Dynamo Soccer Fest near the southwest corner of BBVA Compass Stadium (Walker St. and Hutchins St.). On-site registration will begin at 6 p.m. and the timed shaving event will end before the 8 p.m. kickoff as the Dynamo face the Sounders.

To register (requires a $10 donation benefitting Bald is Beautiful) for Saturday's head-shaving event, visit www.houstondynamo.com/baldisbeautiful. All proceeds from the 2013 Bald is Beautiful campaign will benefit the Curing Children's Cancer Fund.
