Toronto FC Loan Rocco Romeo to HB Koge

Toronto FC announced today that defender Rocco Romeo has been loaned to HB Köge (Second Division, Denmark) through June 2021.

Romeo, 20, signed with Toronto FC as a Homegrown Player on January 21, 2020, becoming the 21st player in club history to sign for the first team from the Toronto FC Academy. He spent the past four seasons with Toronto FC II, where he made 25 appearances and registered one goal. Romeo went on a short loan spell to HB Köge in January 2019, where he made eight appearances. He made his professional debut for Toronto FC II when he came on as a substitute against Charlotte Independence on September 4, 2016.

Internationally, he represented Canada at the 2018 Concacaf Men's Under-20 Championship.

TRANSACTION: Toronto FC send defender Rocco Romeo on loan to HB Köge.
