
Toronto FC and Aceval Agree to Part Ways

Toronto FC announced Thursday that the club and defender Miguel Aceval have agreed to part ways. His contract has been terminated by mutual consent. Aceval, 29, joined Toronto FC in the offseason and made five league appearances and added two assists. The Chilean native scored his first and only goal as a member of Toronto FC in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals against Santos Laguna of Mexico.
Toronto FC will host the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, July 28 at BMO Field. Kick off is at 4:30 p.m.
