
Chicago Fire Loan Rafael Robayo to Club Deportivo Millonarios

CHICAGO, Ill. (July 26, 2012) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Thursday that the club has loaned Colombian midfielder Rafael Robabyo to Club Deportivo Millonarios. The 28-year-old midfielder will rejoin the CategorÃ-a Primera A Colombian side immediately. Per team and MLS policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"This opportunity allows Rafael to return to his former club," said Fire Head Coach Frank Klopas. "Rafael is a good professional and we wish him the best in his next step."
Robayo joined the Fire on January 9, 2012 after seven years with Millonarios. The Bogota, Colombia product appeared in 15 matches for the Men in Red, starting three.
