Toronto FC Acquires Pair of Draft Picks from New York Red Bulls for Rights to Convey

Toronto FC announced Friday that it has acquired a 2014 first-round MLS SuperDraft pick and a 2016 third-round MLS SuperDraft pick in exchange for the rights to midfielder Bobby Convey and a 2014 second-round MLS SuperDraft pick.

"We'd like to thank Bobby for his contributions to Toronto FC and wish him all the best in New York," said Toronto FC General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko.

Convey, 30, made 21 appearances for Toronto FC, scoring one goal and added four assists after being acquired in a trade with Sporting Kansas City on May 16, 2013.
