Toronto Argonauts Host Pregame Rally at Shipyard Ahead of CFL Home Opener

On Saturday, CFL action makes its return to BMO Field with the Battle of the QEW when the Toronto Argonauts take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Upon entrance, the first 7,000 fans will receive a bobblehead giveaway of new free agency signing and wide receiver Derel Walker. The Argonauts' home opener will be the club's inaugural game on the new hybrid playing surface in place at BMO Field.
Prior to kickoff, fans are invited to attend the Argos Shipyard at its new location on the north end patio of BMO Field. Pregame festivities will include a live DJ, family-friendly activities, appearances from Argos alumni and special guests, as well as $3 hot dogs and $5 beer at Shipyard and BMO Field for the game.
Retired four-time Grey Cup champion Ricky Ray will also attend the Shipyard and will sign autographs for fans (limit to one item per fan). During his 16-season career, the veteran quarterback won a total of four Grey Cup championships, including the Argos' 2017 win, and was named Grey Cup MVP in 2005. Ray was named CFL All-Star twice during his time with the Toronto Argonaut Football Club.
