
Tony Lisman named UHL General Manager of the Year

MUSKEGON, Mich. -- The Muskegon Fury, proud members of the United Hockey League, are pleased to announce that Fury Owner and President TONY LISMAN has been named the 2005 - 2006 UHL General Manager of the Year. This marks the first time in his tenure as Fury owner he's earned the award, and adds to an already impressive list of honors Lisman has won.
Lisman, who has owned the Fury since its inception in the 1992 - 1993 season, has also captured honors in the form of the UHL's Governor of the Year on a record four different occasions (1992-93, 1993-94, 1998-99 and 2003-04). During the 1996-97 season, Lisman also served as the interim commissioner of the UHL (then known as the Colonial Hockey League).
Tony Lisman joins David Wrigley and Ryan Keller (UHL All-Rookie First Team), Robin Bouchard (UHL All-Star First Team) and Jeff Nelson (UHL All-Star First Team, UHL Most Valuable Player) as this year's Muskegon Fury representatives of UHL awards.
