
UHL announces 2005-06 front office awards

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Monday the following front office awards based on the contributions that the individuals made to their respective team and the league during the 2005-06 season.
Governor of the Year - Paul Pickard, Kalamazoo Wings
General Manager of the Year - Tony Lisman, Muskegon Fury
Marketing Director of the Year - Sherri Matusz, Port Huron Flags
Public Relations Director of the Year - Mike Peck, Rockford IceHogs
Broadcaster of the Year - Owen Newkirk, Elmira Jackals
Merchandise Director of the Year - Anna Toltzman, Rockford IceHogs
The UHL Board of Governors selected the Governor of the Year. Governors and general managers selected the General Manager of the Year. Public relations directors and broadcasters selected the Public Relations Director of the Year and the Broadcaster of the Year.
UHL President/CEO Richard Brosal selected the Marketing Director of the Year and the Merchandise Director of the Year based on the success of each team's marketing and merchandising efforts throughout the season.
