Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
(Salisbury, MD) - Tonight's Delmarva Shorebirds game, scheduled for a 7:05pm start against the Hagerstown Suns has been postponed due to the extremely wet field conditions left by the heavy rains we've received over the last few days and the forecast for more showers this evening. The 2nd game of yesterday's double header was postponed late last evening, meaning only 1 game of the 3 game series against the Suns was completed. Both postponed games will be rescheduled at a later date.
Fans who purchased tickets for tonight's game can redeem them at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium Box Office for tickets to any remaining regular season game in 2009. Fans must present there tickets at the box office on or before the date the wish to attend.
The âBirds hit the road for three games against the Lake County Captains before returning home on Monday @ 7:05pm for a three game set versus the Lakewood BlueClaws. Tickets for any home start as low as $6 and are available online at
