Tommy Grant Reassigned to the Bulls

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that San Jose has reassigned forward Tommy Grant from the Worcester Sharks to the Bulls. He will join the team tomorrow for practice.

Grant, 26, was traded to the San Jose organization earlier this season from the New York Rangers. The North Vancouver, British Columbia, native has 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) in 127 career American Hockey League games with the Connecticut Whale (formerly the Hartford Wolfpack) and Worcester Sharks. This season, Grant has 19 points (10 goals, 9 assists) in 48 AHL games. In 2010-11, Grant captained the University of Alaska-Anchorage. He led the team his final year with 32 points in 37 games.

The Bulls take to the road for a Wednesday night game against the Stockton Thunder before returning home for St. Patrick's Day weekend. On Saturday, the first 2,000 fans, 21 and over, receive a green SF Bulls hat. On Sunday, the Bulls will host Olympians Kristi Yamaguchi and Bret Hedican for Always Dream Foundation Night. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit Kristi and Bret's foundation.
