
Tommy Grady Earns Offensive Player of the Week

JACKSONVILLE - The National Arena League announced on Wednesday that Sharks quarterback Tommy Grady earned Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in home opener against the Georgia Firebirds.
Grady, entering his eighth season in arena football, has started off strong in his third season with the Sharks. His most impressive performance so far this season took place last Saturday, where he found his receivers in the end zone 5 times, completing 12 of his 19 passes for 161 yards.
Grady is currently leading the league with 70.5% completion percentage and a 152.5 QBR. Currently Grady is the only starting quarterback in the NAL to not surrender an interception this season.
This week, Grady will face off against Lehigh Valley Steelhawks quarterback Warren Smith Jr. who is currently tied for first in the league for total offensive touchdowns. They will battle on the field Saturday during the Sharks' home game against the Steelhawks at 7:00 p.m. for Halloween April.
