In three games last week, Kuhnhackl led the team in scoring with six points in three games, scoring five goals and one assist. Kuhnhackl has earned this award for a team leading third time in four weeks and was also nominated for the current OHL Player of the Week award.
On Wednesday, Kuhnhackl scored two goals and registered one assist, including a dramatic game winning tally with seven seconds left in the contest as the Spitfires defeated the London Knights 5-4 in overtime at the WFCU Centre. Two nights later, he scored Windsor's lone goal in a 2-1 road loss to the Plymouth Whalers before finishing the week with a two-goal performance as first star of the Spitfires 4-3 road loss to the Owen Sound Attack on Saturday.
Kuhnhackl has scored at least one goal in Windsor's past four games and has recorded at least one point in seven consecutive contests.
