Toledo Walleye News Release
(Toledo, Ohio) Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that they have released forward Todd Nowicki, and defensemen Simo Pulkki, Henrick Arnstrom, and Johan Ekblom. In separate moves, forward Brad Bonello (BOH-nehl-oh) has been assigned to Toledo from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League, and forward Jonathan Tremblay has been recalled to the Cleveland Barons.
Bonello, a native of Brampton, Ontario, has yet to make an appearance with the Griffins this season. Brad is a rookie who has spent the last four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League. A year ago, Bonello played in 58 games with the Ottawa 67's, collecting 26 goals, 40 assists, and 120 penalty minutes. "Brad is a tough, but very skilled player," said Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Nick Vitucci. Tremblay appeared in two preseason contests with Storm, collecting a fight in Sunday's game at Dayton.
Opening night 2005 is October 21st against Dayton. Tickets are on sale for
that contest and the remaining 35 home games are available at all ticket
master outlets. Contact the Storm office at 419-691-0200 or visit
