Odessa Jackalopes News Release
(Corpus Christi, TX) - Juha Toivonen stopped 19 shots, Sebastien Thinel netted two goals, and the Odessa Jackalopes added two more shorthanded goals to top the Corpus Christi IceRays, 4-0, at the American Bank Center on Wednesday night.
Jean Bourbeau added the first shorthanded goal midway through the second period, and Mike Lesperance added the other midway through the third.
Thinel's pair of goals give him ten on the season to lead the Jackalopes team.
Odessa will host New Mexico on Friday night at the Ector County Coliseum at 7:05 PM. It's Cap Giveaway Night and the game can be heard locally on 97 Gold.
