Trenton Titans News Release
TRENTON, N.J. - In this age of Social Media, the Trenton Titans have gotten a good read on just how much excitement is in the air of the team's re-establishment.
Just a week after the team's Facebook page was unveiled, it was "liked'' by 1,000 fans. Katy Garton, who lives in Langhorne, Pa., registered the 1,000th "like'' and was awarded four tickets to Opening Night vs. the Florida Everblades Oct. 22.
"We really have been taken with the response of area fans,'' said Titans President/CEO Rich Lisk. "It's been unbelievable, even more than we ever expected.
"The team, the staff, we are all in this together as we rebuild the tradition of Titans hockey in Trenton.''
The Titans will play in the Atlantic Division of the ECHL, with rivals Reading, Elmira and Wheeling. The 2011-12 season actually opens in Elmira Oct. 14, with the Jackals hosting the re-established Titans.
Ticket packages to fit any fan are available by calling the Titans offices at 609-341-1100. Included are a popular Flex-Pack, with which a fan choosing at least five games will receive a ticket discount.
Individual-game Titans tickets go on sale at 10 a.m, Sept. 6 by phone, Internet and at the Sun National Bank Center box office.
