Jimmy Ricoy had five RBIs, helping the Nashua Silver Knights (28-25) to a 7-3 victory over the Torrington Titans (27-25) on Thursday at Holman Stadium.
He singled in the fifth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Jake Mellin's six strikeouts helped the Nashua Silver Knights to the victory. Mellin allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over six innings.
It was a good day at the plate for the Torrington Titans' Matthew Batten. Batten went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, sixth, and eighth innings.
Brett Susi was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.
