The Nashua Silver Knights (27-24) pounded the Torrington Titans (26-24) on Wednesday 11-5 at Fuessenich Park.
The Nashua Silver Knights scored five runs in the sixth on the Nashua Silver Knights scored in the sixth on a wild pitch,, a single by Michael Pierson, an RBI single by Jimmy Ricoy, and a fielder's choice.
Guy Davidson racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings and doubled in the ninth innings.
RJ Going reached base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the third inning.
Tom Hudon got his second win for the Nashua Silver Knights despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered nine hits.
Mike Bonaiuto (2-6) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He allowed nine runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
