Carson Helms went 2-3 and hit a home run as the Nashua Silver Knights (8-8) took home an 8-5 victory over the Torrington Titans (9-10) at Holman Stadium on Tuesday.
He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.
Taylor Olmstead got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.
Trevor Holmes got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Kevin Connolly was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
