Titans Make It Four In A Row

Trenton, NJ (November 21, 2003) - The Trenton Titans looked to extend their six game unbeaten streak in the first game game of a home and home series against the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies. The Bullies skated into Sovereign Bank Arena winners of their last two but having dropped the last two games against the Titans.

Once again, the Titans skated to a scoreless tie after one period, but rookie defenseman P.J. Martin got the Titans on the board first with a power play goal at 11:41 of the second frame. Martin ripped a low liner past Scott Stirling and just inside the near post to the put the Titans up 1-0. The tally was Martin's was first as a professional.

Depsite being outshot 15-9 in the third period, the Titan's were able to extend their lead again the power play. This time Matt Zultek deflected home a wrister from Martin for his team-leading 10th goal of the season, making it 2-0 Titans.

The Bullies were able to pull within one a Josh Prudden's first professional goal at 14:06 of the third period. Chris Houle, however, would shut the door, stopping 35 of 36 shots to give the Titans the 2-1 victory and extend his winning streak to four.
