
Tip a Mallard Event Set for March 8

MOLINE, Ill. (February 23, 2011) - The Quad City Mallards have partnered with Antonella's Ristorante and Pizzeria to host Tip a Mallard, Tuesday, March 8, 2011. From 5 to 7 p.m. Mallards players will work as celebrity waiters. The tips they collect that evening will be donated to the hunger programs of Churches United of the Quad Cities Area.
Fans are encouraged to come enjoy a delicious Sicilian-style dinner with choices ranging from pizza, pasta, salads and sandwiches to support a great cause and be served by some of the most athletic waiters in town. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Antonella's at 563-359-4411.
Churches United of the Quad Cities Area has 26 food pantries and three meal sites on both sides of the river. With 18 percent of the Quad City population at or below poverty level, the Mallards are proud to partner with Antonella's to benefit Churches United and the great work they do for our community.
Antonella's is a family owned and operated restaurant located in downtown Davenport at 112 West 3rd Street. They are a proud sponsor of both Churches United and Quad City Mallards hockey.
