
Tinordi Re-Assigned To Knights

LONDON, ONTARIO: The Montreal Canadiens have re-assigned Defenceman Jarred Tinordi to the London Knights for the 2010-2011 OHL Season. Tinordi, 18 re-joins the Knights after taking part in the Montreal Canadiens Training Camp where he appeared in 2 NHL Exhibition Games.
Prior to leaving for Montreal, Tinordi attended the London Knights 2010 OHL Training Camp from August 31-September 2, 2010. He also appeared in 1 OHL Exhibition Game on Friday, September 3rd, 2010 vs. Sarnia Sting.
Tinordi who stands 6.07 and weighs 208 pounds spent last season with the United States Under 18 Team where he served as Team Captain. Tinordi was selected by the London Knights in 4th Round ( 74th Overall ) at the 2008 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Tinordi was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1st Round ( 22nd Overall ) at the 2010 National Hockey League Draft.
Tinordi is native of Millersville, Maryland and is a graduate of Washington Junior Capitals Minor Hockey Program. He is also a graduate of Team Maryland Minor Hockey.
He is expected to join the Knights for practice at the John Labatt Centre on Tuesday, September 28th, 2010.
