Fort Wayne attempts a first-half sweep of Lansing tonight at 7:05, as the TinCaps will try to improve to a perfect 9-0 against the Lugnuts. The scheduled starters are Walker Weickel for Fort Wayne and Taylor Cole for Lansing.

Entering today's play the TinCaps:

-Are a season-best 12 games above .500 (35-23)

-Leading the wild-card race by 4.5 games over Bowling Green

-Have the third-best record in the 16-team Midwest League
