According to MLB.com, the Padres have signed 16 prospects, 9 more than any other team in the MLB (Pirates signed 7). The Padres could not sign any individual prospect for more than $300,000 as they are 1 of 8 teams in the penalty for exceeding their international bonus pool under the previous CBA. San Diego has reaped success in the international signing period as 16 of its top 30 prospects are international signings. There are currently 9 international prospects on the TinCaps roster.

SMOETHING ABOUT THE LOONS: Robbie Podorsky has raked against the Loons this season.
