
Tina Thompson diagnosed with severe left calf strain

HOUSTON - The Houston Comets announced today that after undergoing tests to further evaluate an injury to her left calf, power forward Tina Thompson has a severe left calf strain and will be out 10 days. Thompson suffered the calf injury at the end of the second half in Saturday's 69-66 overtime win at San Antonio and did not return to the contest.
