San Antonio Stars News Release
THIS WEEK'S GAMES:
Tuesday, June 15 at Charlotte Sting @ Charlotte Coliseum 6:00 p.m. KSJL 810 AM
This will be the first matchup between the Silver Stars and Sting this season. The Silver Stars are 7-8 all-time against the Sting and have split the series, 1-1, since moving to San Antonio. The two teams won't meet again until the final game of the regular season in San Antonio on September 17 at 7:00 p.m. The Silver Stars have won three straight on their home court.
Thursday, June 17 at Washington Mystics @ MCI Center 6:00 p.m. ESPN2, The Ticket
This will be the first of two meetings between the Silver Stars and Mystics. Last season Washington swept the series 2-0, but San Antonio leads the all-time series 6-5. The Silver Stars and Mystics won't face-off again until September 15 at the SBC Center at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 19 vs. Seattle Storm @ SBC Center 7:00 p.m. KSJL 810 AM
This game will be the first of three between the Silver Stars and Storm. Last season San Antonio won the series 3-1 and are riding a three-game winning streak at home against Seattle. The Silver Stars hold a 9-4 advantage in the all-time season series. San Antonio and Seattle meet again on July 1 at KeyArena at 9:00 p.m.

LAST WEEK'S GAMES:
Wednesday, June 9 at Houston Comets L 59-47
The Comets avenged a season-opening loss to San Antonio on May 20, defeating the Silver Stars 59-47...this was the Silver Stars fourth consecutive loss...Houston took a 30-18 advantage at halftime...San Antonio used an 11-6 spurt to get within 36-30 early in the second half, but the Comets managed to keep the Silver Stars in check and sealed the win with a 6-0 run in the final minute.
Saturday, June 12 vs. Houston Comets L 69-66 OT
The Silver Stars dropped their fifth straight game, but not before forcing the Comets into overtime...San Antonio went on a 16-4 run over the final 7:24 of regulation, with reserve Semeka Randall scoring nine of her 12 points in the spurt...LaToya Thomas nailed a jumper with 1.9 seconds remaining to send the game into OT...Houston now leads the season series 2-1.

This Week in Silver Stars History Second Chances: One year ago this week, on June 14, 2003 Gwen Jackson tied a Silver Stars record for most offensive rebounds in a game with 10, helping propel San Antonio over Charlotte 62-52.
