
Timo Helbling Joins The Storm

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the East Coast Hockey League today announced that defenseman, Timo Helbling, has been re-assigned by the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League to the Storm.
Helbling (6'2"/209) (21), who hails from Basel, Switzerland, has played 23 games this season with the Admirals and recorded one assist and 37 penalty minutes. Last season with the Admirals, Helbling, who was a sixth round pick of the Predators in 1999, scored two goals, assisted on six others, and picked up 59 penalty minutes in 67 games. Helbling is expected to join the Storm for tonight's game against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
In a separate transaction, the Storm released defenseman, Brad Fraser, who played one game with Toledo prior to his release. The puck will drop on tonight's game at 7:30 p.m. at the Toledo Sports Arena. The game broadcast can be heard live on WCWA 1230 am in Toledo and www.toledostorm.com beginning at 7:06 p.m.
