ARLINGTON, Texas - Timbers2 were unable to rally from an early two-goal deficit, falling 2-1 on the road to North Texas SC at Choctaw Stadium on Saturday evening. Jamin Gogo Peters scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season late in the first half, while Dylan Akau notched his second assist of the campaign.

Goal-Scoring Plays

NTX - José Mulato (Alejandro Araneda), 12th minute: Mulato settled a long ball, beat his defender inside the 18-yard box and found the left corner of the net.

NTX - Bernard Kamungo (penalty kick), 19th minute: Kamungo converted the penalty with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner.

POR - Jamin Gogo Peters (Dylan Akau), 43rd minute: Akau received a pass inside the box and fired alow, hard cross to the edge of the six-yard box for Gogo Peters, who fired the ball inside the right post.
