Timbers2 earned their second win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 at Providence Park on Sunday afternoon. After conceding first in the match, T2 scored three unanswered goals to secure three points at home. Michael Vang, Victor Griffith and Florián Monzóneach scored their first career goals for Portland.

Goal-Scoring Plays

VAN - Levonte Johnson (Jean-Claude Ngando), 40th minute: Jean-Claude Ngando dribbled into the box and towards the endline from the left side and played a pass across the six-yard box. Levonte Johnson got to the near post and finished a one-touch shot.

POR - Michael Vang (Blake Pope), 44th minute: Black Pope received the ball on the left side and laid off a pass towards the top of the box for Michael Vang, who curled a first-time finish into the top right corner of the goal.

POR - Victor Griffith (penalty kick), 45+4 minute: *Vancouver conceded a foul in the box, awarding T2 a penalty kick. Victor Griffith stepped up and converted the attempt.

POR - Florián Monzón (Michael Vang), 57th minute: Michael Vang sent a T2 corner kick towards the near post. Florián Monzón drove a header into the corner of the goal.
