PORTLAND, Ore. - Despite a brace from Mataeo Bunbury and a goal from Kyle Linhares, Timbers2 fell in a hard-fought match against MNUFC2 4-3 at Providence Park on Sunday afternoon. Bunbury notched his first two goals of the season while Linhares tallied his second of the 2024 campaign.

MNUFC - Patrick Weah (Molik Khan), 12th minute: Khan passed the ball to the right side of the box to Weah, who slipped the ball by two Portland defenders and into lower-right corner of the goal.

POR - Mataeo Bunbury (Keesan Ferdinand), 23rd minute: Off a long ball from Ferdinand, Bunbury took a touch on the ball over Minnesota's goalkeeper and finished the play in the left-footed shot into the goal.

POR - Mataeo Bunbury (Noah Santos), 29th minute: Santos dribbled onto to the top of the box and sent the ball right to Bunbury, who positioned the ball inside the box. He hit a left-footed shot that was deflected by a Minnesota defender before going inside the goal-line.
