
Timbers Midfielder Diego Chara Undergoes Successful Appendectomy

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Chara underwent a successful appendectomy on Thursday afternoon, the club announced today.
Chara will miss the Timbers' road match against Austin FC on Sunday, Sept. 17, with a recovery timeline of one to three weeks.
