
Timbers Goalkeeper Jeff Attinella Undergoes Successful Surgery

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Timbers goalkeeper Jeff Attinella underwent successful surgery to repair his ruptured right rectus femoris tendon, the club announced today.
Dr. Kevin Murphy performed the operation Monday at Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center.
Attinella sustained the injury in the Timbers' home match against Seattle Sounders FC on May 9 and will be out for the remainder of the season. He will conduct his rehabilitation with the Timbers sports medicine staff.
