
Timbers' Dike Sustains Achilles Injury

VENTURA, Calif. - Portland Timbers forward Bright Dike suffered an injury to his right Achilles tendon in Friday night's preseason game against the Ventura County Fusion. He will return to Portland on Sunday and will be further evaluated by Timbers team doctors Monday at Sports Medicine Oregon in Tigard, Ore.
Dike sustained the injury in the first 20 minutes of the Timbers' preseason exhibition. He underwent a preliminary evaluation Friday evening at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura.
