
Tigers Prospects Participate in Canada Winter Games

Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - Three Tigers prospects will be competing in the 2019 Canada Winter Games that are set to begin tomorrow, February 15th, in Red Deer.
Cole Sillinger and Ashton Ferster will be competing for Team Saskatchewan while Aidan Brook will be playing for Team Manitoba. Tigers' Director of Player Personnel Bobby Fox will also be the Head Coach of Team Alberta during the games.
Here is some information on each participating prospect:
Cole Sillinger
Sillinger was selected 11th overall by the Tigers in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft and he has played 3 games for the Tigers this season picking up 2 assists. Currently, the 6'0 centreman is playing for the Regina Pat Canadians Midget AAA in SMHL and he has 69 points (29G, 40A) in 38 games.
Ashton Ferster
Ferster was selected in the fourth round, 77th overall by the Tigers in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. The 6'4 right wing is currently playing for the Prince Albert Mintos in the SMHL and he has 30 points (13G, 17A) in 41 games.
Aidan Brook
Brook was drafted in the fourth round, 76th overall by the Seattle Thunderbirds and traded to the Tigers on January 4th, 2019. The 6'3 defenceman currently plays for the Rink Hockey Academy Elite 15s in the CSSHL E15 and he has 24 points (1G, 23A) in 34 games.
The Tigers have a big weekend coming up playing three games in four games against Central Division rivals. Friday the Tabbies will travel to Calgary to battle the Hitmen before returning home Saturday to host the Hitmen. Sunday the Orange and Black travel to Edmonton to play the Oil Kings.
