On a play from Bryan Lockner and Cole Clayton, Elijah Brown scored a shorthanded goal just over a minute into the game. It was his second goal of this season.

Shortly after, Tyler Preziuso netted his third goal of the season to make it 2-0 for the Tigers. Preziuso's goal was assisted by James Hamblin and Baxter Anderson.

During the second stanza, Daniel Baker and Brett Kemp combined to set up Ryan Chyzowski to score his fifth goal of the season.

Jakin Smallwood scored to get the ICE on the scoresheet midway through the period and cut the Tigers' lead to 3-1.

ICE veteran forward Connor McClennon scored on the power play early into the final frame. The Tigers responded when rookie Cole Sillinger fired the puck past goaltender Jesse Makaj. Sillinger's fifth goal of the season was assisted by Kemp and Cole Clayton.

With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Makaj left the ICE's net to give the visitors the man advantage. The Orange and Black won possession of the puck and Preziuso scored his second goal of the night on the empty net.
