
Tiger-Cats Sign Defensive End Paul Hazel

HAMILTON, ONT. - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today the signing of international defensive end Paul Hazel.
Hazel, 25, appeared in four NFL games with the New York Giants last season and 13 games with the Cleveland Browns in 2013, recording three tackles overall. The 6-5, 227-pound native of Miami, Florida, was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a rookie free agent in 2013. He also spent time with the Houston Texans in 2014.
Prior to his NFL career, Hazel suited up in 49 games (19 starts) at Western Michigan University, registering 104 total tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 17.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
