April 27, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
Hamilton, Ontario â The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are proud to announce a multi-year partnership with Primus Telecommunications. This agreement makes Primus the first ever presenting sponsor of Tiger-Cats football.
"We're excited to be the presenting sponsor of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and proud that Primus is playing a key role in supporting the Canadian Football League," said Andrew Day, Senior Vice President, Residential Services of Primus Canada. "We see today's announcement as a great opportunity to help grow our over ten-thousand strong residential customer base in the City of Hamilton."
The new partnership makes Primus the exclusive telecommunications sponsor of the Tiger-Cats. Primus will receive logo placement in various locations at Ivor Wynne Stadium, including a logo at the 55-yard line as part of their sponsorship. Primus will also have their logo prominently displayed on all Ticats game and practice jerseys, the Ticats media backdrop and promotional items distributed by the team.
"Partnering with Primus is a unique and exciting opportunity for the Ticats," remarked club President David Sauve. "We are extremely pleased to have Primus on board as the only presenting sponsor in the 136-year history of the organization."
