The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Tuesday the football club has added two players to the team's practice roster, including national linebacker Dillon Grondin and international wide receiver John Diarse.

Grondin, 26, signed with the Tiger-Cats earlier this season on August 6 and appeared in one game before being released October 1. Over his three CFL seasons, the 6-1, 220-pound linebacker has recorded one defensive tackle and six special teams tackles. Before turning pro, the Sarnia, Ontario native played five seasons with the Windsor AKO Fratmen in the Canadian Junior Football League.

Diarse, 23, most recently attended 2018 training camp with the National Football League's Denver Broncos. Prior to turning pro, the 6-1, 214-pound wide receiver split his collegiate career between Texas Christian University (2016-17) and Louisiana State University (2013-15). In 27 career games at TCU, the Monroe, Louisiana native registered 68 receptions for 1,017 receiving yards and six touchdowns. In 28 career games at LSU in 2014 and 2015 after being redshirted in 2013, Diarse recorded 28 receptions for 412 yards and three touchdowns.
