
Tiger-Cats Add To Canadian Content

Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has added a trio of Canadian players, including running back Andrew Hamilton, defensive back Jonathan Hood and offensive lineman Cody Husband.
Hamilton, a 6-0, 196-pound native of Montreal, Quebec ran was named a QSSF All-Star after running for 889 yards and three touchdowns with McGill in 2009. He spent the 2007 season on the Montreal Alouettes practice roster after collegiate stints with Concordia, Delaware State and Eastern Michigan.
Hood, a 6-0, 195-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario was selected by the Edmonton Eskimos in the fourth round (26th overall) of the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft. He spent part of the 2008 season on the Eskimos practice roster before suiting up for Western, where he made 23 tackles and two quarterback sacks. Hood previously played four seasons at St. FX, earning a spot on the AUS All-Star team in 2007 after setting AUS records for longest kick return (107 yards) and longest punt return (128 yards).
Husband, a 6-7, 307-pound native of New Westminster, British Columbia has spent the last four years at UBC as a tackle.
