
Tickets on Sale Wednesday for Sounders FC-Galaxy Cup Quarterfinal

RENTON, WASH. - Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal match between Seattle Sounders FC and the L.A. Galaxy. The game will be played Wednesday, July 13 at Starfire Sports Stadium in Tukwila. First kick is 7 p.m. PT.
Tickets are available at the CenturyLink Field box office, by calling 1-800-745-3000, visiting www.SoundersFC.com or through Ticketmaster. Tickets are general admission and priced at $16 for covered grandstand and $12 for uncovered bleachers.
Seattle defeated the Kitsap Pumas, 2-1, in a third-round match before a sold-out Starfire Stadium crowd on June 28. The Galaxy eliminated the Los Angeles Blues, 2-1.
The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the U.S. Soccer Federation's National Championship, is an annual competition open to all amateur and professional soccer teams affiliated with U.S. Soccer. It is the oldest annual team tournament in U.S. sports and among the oldest soccer tournaments of its type in the world.
Seattle won the Open Cup in both 2009 and 2010, and is bidding to become only the second team in the tournament's history to capture three successive championships.
