IceDogs tie Majors
The Mississauga IceDogs and St. Michael's Majors skated to a 2-2 tie Sunday afternoon.
For the second straight game the IceDogs came from behind on the road to earn a single point. After St. Mike's opened the scoring midway through the first period, Kyle Quincey scored his third of the season to even the score 1-1. It only took the Majors forty seconds to restore the lead, scoring with just four seconds to play in the opening frame. Brad Snetsinger would answer for the IceDogs scoring his second of the season late in the second period. The two teams would trade chances in the third period and into overtime, but for the second straight time the IceDogs would settle for a tie.
The IceDogs are back in action Thursday night when they travel to Barrie to play the Colts. The 'Dogs will return home for the weekend to host Belleville Friday night and S.S. Marie on Sunday afternoon.
