Mississauga St. Michael's Majors News Release

TORONTO, ON — In what has become an annual tradition, the Toronto St. Michael's Majors will be holding a Hallowe'en costume contest once again this season. It will take place this Sunday, October 31st when the Majors host the Barrie Colts at 2:00 pm.

There is a kids competition for children age twelve and under. The top five costumes will be paraded onto the ice during the 1st intermission with prizes awarded based on crowd applause. Also, elaborately dressed adults will be spotted in the stands during the game, pointed out to the rest of the crowd and provided with a prize package. All of the sweets and prizes that will be awarded are being provided by Hershey's Canada and the Majors.

As a sidenote, the Majors 2004-05 raincheck dates will be Thursday, January 20th versus the Brampton Battalion and Thursday, February 10th versus the Sarnia Sting. Therefore, these are the only two nights where Majors season ticketholders will be able to redeem their unused tickets from this season.

The Majors will travel to Peterborough on Thursday evening (October 28th) for a 7:00 pm contest, return home to host Brampton on Friday night (October 29th) at 7:30 pm before wrapping up the weekend with their Hallowe'en tilt versus Barrie. Both home games will be available on Rogers television in the Toronto region (channel 10 or 63) and all three will be webcast at www.stmichaelsmajors.com.

Majors tickets can be purchased in a number of ways: through the Majors' office; at the St. Michael's College School Arena box office within two hours of the puck drop; by calling Ticketmaster at (416) 872-5000; or, online at www.ticketmaster.ca.
