Chicago Fire FC News Release
CHICAGO, IL (Jan. 31, 2012) - The Chicago Fire Foundation, the charitable arm of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, announced Tuesday that the 14th Annual Chicago Fire Season Kickoff Luncheon will take place Monday, March 12 at 11 AM CT at the Hyatt Regency Chicago (151 E. Wacker Dr. Chicago, IL 60601).
Tickets for the 2012 Chicago Fire Season Kickoff Luncheon start at just $75 a person, with full tables for 10 guests at $700. The first 20 full paid tables (10 guests) at $800 will be guaranteed to sit with a Fire player or coach. Tickets are available by calling (708) 496-6740 or by visiting Chicago-Fire.com.
Entering its 14th year, the Chicago Fire Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps the Chicago Fire contribute to the community through grants and contributions. In 2011, the Chicago Fire Foundation hosted its largest luncheon to date, with a sellout crowd of nearly 800 people raising over $74,000. This outstanding achievement gives the Chicago Fire Foundation even more reason to set its sights on grander projects for the future.
The annual event offers Fire supporters the first opportunity to meet the 2012 Chicago Fire team and raise funds in the name of charity. In addition to interacting with Fire players, coaches and technical staff, the event includes a reception, formal lunch and silent auction where attendees can bid on autographed Fire and other sports memorabilia, gift certificates and much more. All proceeds benefit the Fire Foundation.
Each year, the Chicago Fire Foundation renews its commitment to improving the quality of life of youth and communities throughout Chicagoland by promoting health, wellness, education and the environment. The Foundation also supports organizations that share this vision so as to further extend the investment needed to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our children.
