Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are offering up some fashion advice to their fans this weekend; don't wear white after Labour Day.

During the Labour Day Classic, Ticats players will wear a white helmet adorned with a special alternative logo when they go head-to-head with the Toronto Argonauts. Each game-worn helmet will then be autographed and put up for auction on Ticats.ca in support of the Ticats Literacy and Youth Participation Programs.

In addition to the helmets, the Labour Day auction will also include many extraordinary items and experience packages from teams, players, and companies across North America, including:

Universal Music Prize Package, including tickets to the September 9th Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna, Swollen Members and a meet and greet with the musical acts after the concert

Autographed, game-worn Indianapolis Colts Peyton Manning Jersey

2005-06 Toronto Maple Leafs Team-Signed Stick

Autographed Ferguson Jenkins 1971 Era Chicago Cubs Jersey

Guitar autographed by Motley Crue's Vince Neil

The auctions begin at 1:00 PM EST on Monday, September 4 and close one week later.
