
Ticats sign two to practice roster

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced the following roster transactions today:
The team has signed import defensive end Greg Taplin and non-import defensive back Imokhai (Maha) Atogwe to practice roster agreements.
Taplin, a 6-4, 267-pound native of Hollywood, Florida, spent four years at Michigan State University (2001-04) where he recorded 129 tackles and 13 sacks in 45 games.
Atogwe, a 5-10, 185-pound native of Windsor, Ontario played 15 games for Edmonton last season, his first in the CFL, where he recorded one defensive tackle and three special teams tackles.
The Ticats have released import defensive end Andy Petek and non-import defensive back David Stipe.
