(Bridgeport, Conn., June 6, 2013) - Thursday's (June 6) rubber game of a three-game series between the Long Island Ducks at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Thursday's (6/6) game will be made up as part of a doubleheader during one of the three games between the Ducks and Bluefish at Bethpage Ballpark June 11-13. Updates as to which day the game will be played will be posted at www.twitter.com/liducks.
The Ducks return home on Friday to open a four-game weekend series against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Game time is slated for 7:05 p.m., with the Bethpage Ballpark gates opening at 6:05. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive 2012 Atlantic League Champions T-Shirts, courtesy of LIU Brentwood/Riverhead. The Ducks will also be running their Friday night Pizza Hut K-Man Promotion, and it's Outback Steakhouse Fridays at the Duck Pond. Right-hander John Brownell takes the mound for the Ducks against Blue Crabs righty Ian Marshall.
Tickets for the game and all Ducks regular season home games are now on sale. Fans can purchase their tickets by visiting the Bethpage Ballpark box office, calling 631-940-TIXX or by CLICKING HERE . Fans unable to make the game can follow all the action live on the radio home for Ducks baseball, 103.9-FM WRCN and online, with streaming video and audio available on the Ducks official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/ducksbaseball .
