South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks have announced that Thursday evening's home game against the Fort Wayne TinCaps has been postponed due to rain and unplayable field conditions at Coveleski Stadium. This sets the stage for a wild and wacky doubleheader Friday at 5:00 PM, with all your favorite promotions rolled into one night.

Gates will open at 4:30 PM for the doubleheader on Friday, marking the final home games of the 2010 season. The Silver Hawks will celebrate another exciting year of baseball with multiple promotions and giveaways throughout the night.

The fun starts as you enter the gates, with the first 300 fans receiving a souvenir giveaway and the first 1,000 being handed a Wendy's Scratch 'N Win card. From there, head to the souvenir stand where all items will be discounted 25% in an end-of-season clearance sale.

As your enjoying the games, don't forget to stop by the concession stands for hot dogs, popcorn, candy, ice cream sandwiches, and soft drinks for just one dollar each.

Finally, stick around through the end of game two for a special Friday night fireworks celebration and a chance for kids of all ages to run the bases.

Fans holding a ticket for Thursday's rainout can redeem that ticket at the Coveleski Stadium box office for tomorrow's regular season finale.
