
ThunderBolts To Hold National Anthem Tryouts

Crestwood, IL - The Windy City ThunderBolts will be holding open tryouts for national anthem singers on Saturday, May 13. The tryouts will take place at Hawkinson Ford Field from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
The ThunderBolts need anthem singers for all 48 of the team's home games as well as select other events at the stadium. Groups and individuals are welcome to tryout. Instrumental performers are also encouraged to attend the tryout. Outstanding singers may be asked to perform at more than one event.
A panel of judges will evaluate singers at the tryout. Each performer will have five minutes to sing the anthem. There are 36 available time slots. All interested persons must pre-register and secure a time slot by calling Dan Wachowski at 708-489-2255.
Later in the day on May 13, the ThunderBolts host the Rockford RiverHawks for an exhibition doubleheader. The first game starts at 2:00pm and tickets are just $5.00 for all seats.
