Evansville, IN - The Evansville Thunderbolts are pleased to announce that they have picked Luke Sandler with their first pick of the 2016-17 SPHL Expansion Draft. The round by round breakdown of draft picks is as follows:
1. Luke Sandler - F - 6'0", 190 lbs. previous team Louisiana Ice Gators
2. Nick Lazorko - F - 6'0", 185 lbs. previous team Fayetteville Fire Ants
3. Pat Murphy - D - 6'0", 195 lbs. previous team Columbus Cottonmouths
4. Johnny Daniels - F - 5'9" 170 lbs. previous team Louisiana Ice Gators
5. Steve Hoshaw - D - 6'0", 210 lbs. previous team Fayetteville Fire Ants
6. Mike Hill - F - 5'10", 200 lbs. previous team Knoxville Ice Bears
