RiverKings Name 13 to Protected List

SOUTHAVEN, Miss.- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today the team's 13-player protected list for the 2016-17 season.

Protected were forwards Devin Mantha, Cullen Bradshaw, Linden Bahm, Charles Mosey, Ryan Marcuz, Matt Harrington and Todd Hosmer, defensemen Richard Coyne, Sam Higgins, Mike Grace, Donald Oliveri and Dean Willmott, and goaltender Peter Di Salvo.

All unprotected players, including those from Louisiana which suspended operations earlier in the day, were eligible for the 2016 SPHL expansion draft hosted on Monday for the new teams in Roanoke and Evansville. RiverKings defenseman Tim Boyle was selected by Roanoke.
